OECD: Finland Students Best At Reading; Japan Excels In Math

Finland's 15-year-old students ranked highest in reading literacy, according to a worldwide test conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development. Japanese students did best in math, and Korea tied Japan for the top spot in science. U.S. students ranked in the middle of the pack. The test, first of its kind, measured 15-year-olds' ability to deploy reading, math and science for real-life challenges.
