Connecticut releases list of districts on academic warning

Fifty-five percent of Connecticut's 166 school districts failed to make adequate yearly progress on the state's assessment tests, the state Board of Education announced yesterday. Although more than 90% of students in affluent Westport scored at or above proficiency standards, the district made the academic warning list because a couple of students failed to take the tests.
