Viacom looks for laughs, ad money in Internet video

Viacom's online plans are becoming clearer as the conglomerate turns to comedy on its two video companies. Atom Films, which relaunches today, will host short-form content and serve as an incubator for MTV Networks, while iFilm, which relaunched last month, will function as a "broad-based video portal and a home for professionally produced MTV Networks content," Advertising Age writes.
