Activists ready to take to streets over Nepal's anti-gay policies

A gay rights group in Nepal is pledging to stage mass protests if the government doesn't take immediate steps to end alleged state-approved violence against LGBT people, provide LGBT representation its government, promise the right to vote to all LGBT people and supply transgender people with official identification cards. The government has been cited by the United Nations' High Commissioner for Human Rights for failing to address anti-LGBT discrimination.
