Survey: Emergency rooms lack equipment for pediatric patients

A survey of U.S. emergency rooms reveals only 6% have the necessary equipment to treat pediatric patients. However, the survey didn't look at the impact on patient care, and the American College of Emergency Physicians says 95% of children who are admitted to ERs are treated and released successfully.
