Foreign firms might soon be allowed to sell yuan bonds in China

Shi Wenchao, secretary-general of China's National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors, said the country might soon allow foreign firms to sell yuan bonds. "We may allow foreign companies, in particular Asian companies, to issue yuan bonds in China on the over-the-counter market to fund their business operations," Shi said.
