Kohl wants bill to limit pay-to-delay generic deals

Sen. Herb Kohl, D-Wis., wants an amendment in the health care reform bill that would make it harder for drug companies to delay generics. The Federal Trade Commission says the pay-to-delay deals go against laws regarding anti-competition and estimates eliminating them could save the government as much as $30 billion over 10 years.
