November traffic down at American, up at American Eagle

November traffic slipped 0.5% at American Airlines, while load factor rose 3 percentage points on a 4.2% reduction in capacity. AMR's regional unit fared well across the board, with traffic up 11.7% and capacity rising 6.8%. Beginning in June, American Eagle will start to take delivery of 22 new CRJ700 regional jets built by Bombardier in a deal valued at $779 million.
