Conn. oil marketers decry governor's policy in favor of natural gas

Home heating-oil distributors in Connecticut oppose Gov. Dannel Malloy's policy that creates incentives for homeowners and businesses to convert from oil to natural gas for heating. "They're using state resources to eliminate jobs, delivery drivers, customer service representatives. These are real jobs and real people, and they matter," said Stephen Rosentel, president of home-heating firm Leahy's Fuels. Andrew Doba, Malloy's spokesman, said the administration is "by no means forcing anyone to convert" to natural gas.
