FCC will defer action on ownership rules until early 2013

The Federal Communications Commission reportedly will push back into early 2013 any action on proposed new media ownership rules until after a brief comment period can be held on a related "323" report on minority ownership. FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn and the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council had called for the comment period.
