Lawmaker proposes mobile, wireless health bill

Rep. Mike Honda, D-Calif., has proposed a bill that would aim to form a mobile health system initiative at the Department of Health and Human Services and eliminate obstacles to wireless health adoption. The possible legislation also would look at the development of a tax incentive program that would help providers cut their costs associated with non-electronic health record IT activities.
