Lawmakers aim to revive talks on immigration reform

Republican members of the House of Representatives plan to revive discussions with Democratic lawmakers regarding a broad overhaul of the country's immigration laws, including a legitimate path to citizenship, along with employment verification and border-security measures. A political action committee has been formed to support the efforts. Former President George W. Bush supports an overhaul, saying, immigrants "fill a critical gap in our labor market."
