Okla. professor seeks to integrate bioenergy in secondary education

The National Science Foundation Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research has joined an initiative led by Oklahoma State University associate professor Shane Robinson to develop teaching materials that would enable high school students to learn math and science through the context of agriculture and bioenergy development. "Our goal is to raise their awareness of renewable energy and its impact on agriculture in Oklahoma so that they can be informed and make knowledgeable decisions on its utility in the future," Robinson said.
