OSHA seeks public comment on intent to update chemical safety rules

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is seeking public input on whether it should revise its regulations on the safe management of highly hazardous chemicals, flammable liquids, spray finishing and explosives. The move is in response to an executive order urging federal agencies to take action to improve chemical plant safety and security. OSHA said it will use submitted comments "to determine what actions, if any, it may take."
