Some investors question Taubman's Asia developments

Some shareholders and analysts have questioned Taubman Centers' commitment to invest $550 million to develop retail malls in China and South Korea. One project in Hanam City, South Korea, has been delayed by a year. The company's Chairman and CEO Robert S. Taubman, however, emphasized the growth potential of the Asian market and said it is natural that investors "don't have the same level of confidence that management, sitting at the controls, might have."
