Study: Transportation industry is turning to social media

The U.S. transportation industry is now embracing social media presence, the recent study conducted by Carrier Logistics Incorporated found. The report discovered that 68% of leading cargo carriers and 63% of transportation software firms use social media. "The study makes a compelling case for B2B organizations in general, and transportation companies in particular, to use social media for brand awareness, customer acquisition, and lead generation," said Gary Snyder, business development manager for Carrier Logistics.
