USGBC's "LEED in Motion" reports look at effects of sustainable building

The U.S. Green Building Council has released another "LEED in Motion" report, the third this year. The latest one focuses on green building innovation and the effects it has. The report notes that in 2009 there were 1,875 LEED New Construction projects, and the majority of them focused on energy performance and low-emitting materials. The report also notes that more than 186,000 individuals have earned LEED credentials.
