Yum to boost KFC brand in China next year

Yum Brands aims to reverse sliding sales for its KFC brand in China with a marketing and branding push in 2014 that will focus on new menu items and further incorporate social and digital tools, said China CEO Sam Su. Yum has nearly 5,000 KFC and 1,000 Pizza Hut restaurants in China, and the country accounts for about 44% of the company's operating profit.
