Hawaiian cruise industry making a comeback

The cruise industry has made strides in Hawaii since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks thanks in large part to major investment from Norwegian Cruise Line's NCL America. Many passengers who sail on one of NCL's luxury ships extend their stay in Hawaii by several days after their cruise has ended, a boost to hotels in the state.
