ReNeuron seeks to restore brain damage with fetal stem cells

ReNeuron Group, a U.K. biotech, has applied to the U.S. FDA to conduct trials on its theory of repairing brain damage by using stem cells from aborted fetuses. The ReNeuron plan is to take stem cells from the developing brain area of a fetus and implant them into the brain of a stroke patient to regenerate damaged cells.
