Turbulent Denver high school now back on track

The path from chaos to stability and better student achievement at Denver's Jefferson High School involved tough leadership, better teacher training and more district funding for additional staff and materials, among other factors. Education Trust Director Kati Haycock says once an urban school has stabilized, student achievement should begin to rise within a year or two.
