Disney buys parent-focused site

Disney has acquired iParenting Media, which operates the family development Web site iParenting.com, as part of its new Web strategy to serve both parents and children. "iParenting has built a strong, trusted reputation among parents, and we feel the site is a perfect complement to our overall portfolio of family-targeted, online brands," said Paul Yanover, managing director of Disney Online.
