Lincoln's 200th birthday celebrated with lessons on character

To mark Kentucky-native Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday Feb. 12, teachers across the state have infused existing curriculum with lessons on Lincoln's character, accomplishments and leadership. The state's General Assembly formed the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission, and it was the Lincoln Bicentennial Teacher Network that developed the lessons and resources being used to educate students about Lincoln.
