This isn't a "warts and all" biography, according to this reviewer, because the author "is shrewd enough to know that Murdoch is all warts." Michael Wolff applauds Murdoch's entrepreneurial drive but says, unlike fellow press barons Conrad Black and Ted Turner, Murdoch isn't burdened by a need to be liked. He also describes Murdoch's latest wife -- Wendy Deng, 38 years his junior -- as a soulmate with whom Murdoch can coo sweet business nothings.
