Security guru: Governments must step up cybersecurity cooperation

Cyberspace will be the front line in future wars, says security expert and author Bruce Schneier, with skilled hackers posing equal if not more threat to sovereign nations than the conventional weapons of the past did. Legal gray areas and the absence of any protocol for dealing with cyber-attacks highlight the need for new "hot lines" between leaders and special treaties that deal specifically with Internet diplomacy, Schneier says.
