Occupy Davis offers learning opportunity for student journalists

Student journalists at Davis Senior High School mobilized their resources to cover the recent Occupy protests on the nearby campus of the University of California-Davis. The high-school students used multimedia -- including print and online articles, social media, photos, videos and an interactive timeline -- to cover the events. Some of their work was viewed by national audiences online and on television, and used by teachers in classroom lessons on the subject.
