Police page shows why Google+ beats Facebook for photos

Cops with San Jacinto Police Department in California are using Google+ to post updates on their activities, along with mug shots of the people they've arrested. Google+ is a better platform than Facebook for such activities, writes Stephen Shankland, because its bold, uncluttered design makes it easier to engage viewers with photo-based content. "The Google+ page draws you in and makes you want to hear the story of what happened," he writes.
