Apple to argue for far-reaching Samsung device ban

The next phase of Apple's federal court patent victory over Samsung Electronics begins today, when Apple will push for a ban of at least 25 of the South Korean manufacturer's smartphone and tablet devices, possibly even ones the company has not yet released. In other patent news, the Federal Trade Commission recommended a federal appeals court reject a push from Google's Motorola Mobility to ban Apple's iPhone and iPad devices over a dispute on standards-essential patents. Also, parts of the patent agreement between Apple and HTC were released Wednesday at Samsung's request.
