A number of groups are working to study trust in the business world, writes Bahar Gidwani, CEO of CSRHub. One technique that is unlikely to promote trust is aggressive auditing, Gidwani notes. "In fact, excessive auditing by customers can destroy trust for the same reason that 'stop and frisk' policies in some U.S. cities have been criticized," he writes.
