Experts press for unified policy on U.S. cybersecurity

Cybersecurity in the U.S. is being hampered by a piecemeal approach, according to a group of policy analysts from two prominent think tanks. Timothy Sample of the Battelle Memorial Institute Special Programs Organization and Michael Swetnam of the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies spell out the concerns in a book, calling on government officials to establish a comprehensive cybersecurity doctrine that details in clear language how the U.S. will respond to threats and attacks.
