N.Y. chocolate factory still shuttered after Sandy

The Madelaine Chocolate Company of Queens, New York is still not operational following severe damage from Superstorm Sandy, owners said. The family-owned company's 450 workers are out of work this holiday season, although cleanup efforts are underway. The factory, which usually packages and ships 100,000 pounds of chocolate per day and is the largest employer in its neighborhood, suffered inventory losses and damage to its factory floor.
