Science, math learning featured in after-school robotics club

The after-school South Tampa Community Robotics Club in Florida typically serves students who are interested in Legos, and teaches them basic skills in robotics, programming and engineering. Students in the club learn to work in teams and spend a few weeks on one project before moving onto other challenges. "The most important thing is kids have a lot of creativity and if you don't get them interested in science and math at an early age, it's really hard to get them interested in it later on," instructor Bill Shaw said.
