Seattle airfield wins approval for commercial flights

The issue of adding commercial flights at Paine Field in Everett, Wash., has been hotly debated since the airport was opened in 1936. On Tuesday, the Federal Aviation Administration approved the general aviation airport, which is located near the Boeing plant, for commercial passenger flights. Allegiant Air and Alaska Airlines have expressed interested in offering flights from the airport.
