2nd-grade student helps peers foster friendships at school

A second-grade student at a Pennsylvania elementary school created a "buddy bench," where students can go if they have no one to play with on the playground. Then, other students can go to the bench and ask them to play. "He thought this was a great way to help other kids who might feel lonely or left out from time to time," said Alyson Bucks, the student's mother.
