BoE wants UK banks exempt from ECB stress test

The Bank of England is trying to convince the European Banking Authority that UK banks should be exempt from the European Central Bank's stress test. Jo Paisley, director of risk analysis at the BoE Prudential Regulation Authority, says the central bank plans to conduct an exam that is "sufficiently rigorous" and wants to spare UK banks the burden of another test.
