Research gets $4M boost from National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences

A new brain injury RNA sequencing collaboration among the Translational Genomics Research Institute, the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and Phoenix Children's Hospital received a $4 million grant from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. The goal is to search for biomarkers that could determine whether brain injury patients are at risk of complications such as aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage or intraventricular hemorrhage.
