Sandia researchers craft new materials for electronics

Researchers at Sandia National Laboratories and the National Institute of Standards and Technology are working on metal-organic framework materials, which they say could potentially have applications in chemical and medical sensors, energy storage and other areas. Using the MOF technology, a massive breath analysis system in a doctor's office could be shrunk to the size of a quarter, said Sandia's Mark Allendorf.
