Study: Cloud services account for dip in digital media sales

Sales of video and music downloads are down even though 65% of mobile media users have shopped for a product or service with a mobile device, according to an MEF survey. The rise of subscription-based services such as Spotify and Netflix were cited as a reason only 42% of mobile media users actually bought digital goods this year, compared with 54% last year.
