TDS: 44 stimulus-funded broadband projects nearing completion

TDS says that over the next two years, it will have used roughly $125 million in federal stimulus money to bring high-speed Internet to thousands of customers in several states. According to director of engineering and implementation Larry Boehm, the company is on track to complete 44 stimulus-funded projects by late 2015 based on VDSL 2 and GPON technology that will offer capacities as high as 25 Mbps.
