U.K.'s prime minister advocates for more Mandarin education

During a recent visit to China, British Prime Minister David Cameron called for more focus on Mandarin in the U.K. education system. In doing so, he said the country should "look beyond the traditional focus on French and German." The statement comes just after a new report from the British Council identified Mandarin as the second most critical language for the nation after Spanish.
