Sleep aids may harm more than help senior citizens

An independent study by researchers at the University of Toronto showed that the elderly, who take sleep aids twice as often as those younger than 65, suffer significant dangerous side effects with only minimal improvement in sleep. The study included generic drugs and prescription medicines such as Ambien and Lunesta.
