Promising biotechs in Calif. see brain drain

Biotech companies in Northern California have 300 products on the market and even more in late-stage tests, a report by BayBio says. But the group said locally based firms are vulnerable to the attraction of moving to other states and countries, where it is cheaper to operate and there are fewer government restrictions, and a brain drain already is beginning.
