Data-driven teaching method is being used in Massachusetts district

Teachers in a Massachusetts district are concerned about a switch to the Response to Intervention teaching method, which focuses on data-driven decision-making in the classroom. Teachers say that while it appears to be effective, RTI could be improved if it was implemented in a standardized way across the district. Under RTI, student achievement is measured before and during implementation to show progress.
