Deere CEO receives more than $4M

Deere & Co. President and CEO Samuel Allen received annual compensation of $4.28 million for fiscal 2009. Allen, who has worked for Deere for 34 years, took the company's top post in August and will become chairman of the company in February. Allen's base pay was less than $800,000. The majority of his compensation consisted of non-equity incentives, stock and options.
