Small-engine manufacturers say raising ethanol blend is safety concern

Small-engine manufacturers, who say raising the ethanol content in gasoline to 15% could lead to safety problems and consumer confusion, welcome the Environmental Protection Agency's decision to delay action pending further studies on the higher blend's effect on engines. OPEI says it is "deeply concerned" about the issue and says it would be "a daunting task" to educate outdoor power equipment users to prevent possible dangerous misfueling.
