Panel says National Oilwell is "uncooperative" in Gulf-spill probe

National Oilwell Varco is refusing to aid the presidential spill panel in its probe of the Gulf of Mexico incident, investigators said. The commission requires the company's assistance to remake proprietary data displays to learn what oil-flow indicators may have been noticed by rig personnel before the blast. The company said the commission is asking it to make "guesses" on what the Deepwater Horizon's computers showed before the explosion that could be misleading.
