Undersea lab lets researchers study aquatic biodiversity

Scientists are studying biodiversity among aquatic species at the world's only manned undersea lab. Aquarius sits 60 feet below sea level on the floor of the ocean off Key Largo, Fla. Researchers spend 10-day stints in the lab, which is funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and has been used for 119 missions in the past 18 years.
