Local is poised for big share of ballooning mobile-ad spending

Local advertising is poised to dominate the rapidly developing mobile-ad market for several reasons, including an already documented and rising tendency of consumers to use devices for local searches, writes BIA/Kelsey senior analyst Mike Boland. National advertisers also are taking advantage of mobile's ability to reach consumers near the point of sale, and small and midsize businesses are sure to follow.
