NBPTS, White House to host education event in D.C.

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards will help host a event on education in Washington, D.C. Other organizers include the White House Domestic Policy Council and the Department of Education. About 100 teachers have been invited to attend, including Evet H. Jefferson, a National Board Certified Teacher from South Carolina. "I believe that all children can learn, I believe that all children are special, and we just need to get them where they're at and take them further," she said.
