Special-education voucher program draws concern in Fla.

A taxpayer-funded voucher program for students with disabilities in Florida is under scrutiny amid concerns about conditions, curriculum and practices at some of the private schools accepting state money. State Rep. Rick Kriseman (D) is calling for an overhaul of the McKay Scholarships Program, among the oldest such programs in the country, which currently does not subject participating schools to accreditation and other requirements.
